6 Day Tour From Tangier To Merzouga

Itinerary

1^st Day: Tangier to Chefchaouen

After the arrival at Tangier, we pick you up from the airport. If there’s enough time, we will go on a tour around the city. If not, we will go directly to Chefchaoun and enjoy the Blue City in direct opposition to Marrakech. Dinner and night are spent there.

2^nd Day: Chefchaouen to Midelt

The first thing breakfast is traveling to Midelt through Fez. We will start by moving from Chefchaoun to Fez and Ifrane then Azrou. During the road to Azrou, we can stop and see the apes and take pictures with them. Overnight is in Midelt.

Day 3: Midelt to Merzouga

The destination of the third day is Merzouga. We will go through Ziz valley and Er-Rachidia. We will enjoy how the geography changes to become a desert-like area. We see the oases on our route to the desert town of Merzouga. We look through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. These dunes are considered the highest in Morocco, let alone climb them. Overnight is in Merzouga.

4^th Day: How does the desert look like?

We usually specify one full day to discover the desert environment with an assistant. In the afternoon, we walk over (or take a camel trek) over the Erg Chebbi dunes. This is to feel the tranquility of the desert life psychologically and mentally. We will erect a typical nomad tent at the heart of desert in complete safety. Overnight is in desert camp.

5^th Day: Merzouga to Fez

We go back across the desert using camels. After this, we will  move back whence we came at first, to Fez. Overnight is in Fez.

6^th Day: Fez to Tangier

The services offered end today by transferring you to the port of Tangier and depart. Safe and peaceful travels are our wish for all tourists and our clients.
