3 Day Tour From Marrakech To Desert and Fes

Itinerary

1st Day: Marrakech – Dades Gorges

The first day begins with our departure from Marakesh towards Ouarzazat. We will stop first at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is a UNESCO world heritage site. After we have lunch at the Kasbah, we continue our tour to arrive at the Valley of Roses and pay a visit to Kalaat Mgouna. The last thing we will finish the day with is arriving at Dades Valley and spending the night there.

2nd Day: Dades to Merzouga Camel Trek In Desert

On the second day of our tour, we will start by leaving Dades Valley and head towards Todgha Gorges. We will enjoy the natural landscapes and have lunch there. Later on, we will go to Merzouga crossing Erfoud and Rissani. At Merzouga, we will do some camel riding through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will stop at a desert camp and we shall spend the night there enjoying the drum beats of the local musicians.

3rd Day: Merzouga – Fez

The third day of our tour will start early in the morning after we wake up to catch the sunrise. Then, we will ride the camels towards the village of Merzouga. We will enjoy a delicious breakfast and a nice shower in the hotel. The travel continues, afterward, towards the city of Fez, driving through the towns of Tafilalt like Erfoud, Risani, and Errachidia. We cross the pass of the she-camel, locally known as Tizi n’Talghamt. We will stop at Zaida for lunch. Later on, we keep on driving towrds Azrou and Ifran, where we can stop to explore the cedar forests very quickly; there we can spot some monkeys. And finally, we will reach the last stop, which is Fez.
