6 Day Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga

Itinerary

1^st Day: Marrakech – Tinghir

We will depart from Marrakech and we will drive through the highest pass in Morocco, which is called Tizi n’Tishka. After we reach the city of Ouarzazate and have lunch there, we will pay a visit to the most cultural heritage sites of the city like the Kasbah of Taourirt. We will continue our journey after that, to arrive in Tinghir in the evening.

2^nd Day:  Tinghir – Merzouga

The first thing we will do in the morning is having breakfast. The second thing is driving to the town of Merzouga. And in the afternoon, we will ride the camels towards the Dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy the sunset over the dunes. We will spend the night at a desert camp with the nomads.

Day 3: Merzouga –Zagoura

We will start the day by riding the camels early in the morning and exploring the wonderful landscapes of the dunes at dawn. We return to the camp for the Breakfast. After that, we will hit the road to the city of Zagora. We will explore the region and we will spend the night at a fancy hotel.

4^th Day: Zagora – Chegaga

This day will be spent riding camels and exploring Mhamid Ghazlane, which is a peaceful place. We will spend the night at the tranquility of the raw nature of the place.

5^th Day: Chegaga-Ouarzazat

After we wake up at dawn to see the fascinating desert sunrise, we will ride the camels towards the town to get breakfast. Then, we will leave Zagora. We will stop briefly at Foum Zguid and Tazenakht town. Then, We will arrive at “the Gate of the Desert”, which is another name for Ouarzazate, in the afternoon. The program includes paying a visit to film studios. Of course, dinner and night are served in a very fancy hotel.

6^th Day: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Today’s program includes the following: The first thing is the visit of the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This site is categorized as a World Heritage by UNESCO. Lunch is served on the way to Marrakech. We drive through the landscapes of the pass of  Tizi n’Tishka towards the Red City. But before that, We will pay a short visit to the Kasbah of Glaoui. And finally, We arrive at Marrakesh.
