3 day private tour from fez to desert and marrakech

Itinerary

1st Day: Fes – Merzouga

“The Moroccan trips” agency organize an amazing tour to Merzouga from Fez for the first day of the program. The tours usually visit Ifrane and Azrou, which are two Atlas towns, which are close to the cedar forests where monkeys live. Then, the tours stop again at Midelt for lunch. After that, the tours travel through the pass of Tizi n’Talghemt towards the Tafilalt region and visits towns like Rissani and Erfoud before they stop at Merzouga. There the travelers will take the camels towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi and go to spend the night with the nomads in a tent.

2nd Day: Desert- Dades Valley

On the second day of the tour, the visitors will take the camels back to Merzouga for breakfast and shower at the hotel. Then, they will ride towards the gorges of Toudgha, which are the narrowest and highest canyons in Morocco; there they will enjoy walking under the fascinating rocks and even climbing. Afterward, the tour takes them to Dades Valley, where they will spend the rest of the day at a nice guest house that has a cool view over the landscapes.

3rd Day : Dades Valley – Marrakech

On the third day, they will depart from Dades valley towards Ouarzazate. Some stops are going to be made if the travelers felt like it. After the arrival at Ouarzazate and exploring it, the tour takes them to Ait Benhaddou, which is a Kasbah that is considered a world heritage site by the UNESCO; both Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou are very famous filming spots that can be seen in Game of Thrones, Gladiator and many other series and movies. After that, the tour finally drives through the challenging Atlas pass Tizi n’Tichka towards the Red City Marrakech, where the tour ends.
