Six Day Tour: from Fez to Marrakech

1st Day: Fez – Merzouga

The first day begins with leaving Fez and traveling towards Merzouga. We will drive through the cedar forests of Azrou towards Midelt. Then, we will go across Ziz Valley towards Rissani and Erfoud before we finally stop at Merzouga. We will take the camels after that to the middle of the high dunes of Erg Chebbi towards a camp. We will spend the night in a nomadic tent listening to local musicians.

 

 2nd Day: Merzouga – Todra Gorges

After we wake up early to see the wonderful desert dawn, we will head back to the hotel on the camels for breakfast and shower. Then we will go to Toudgha Gorges to explore the fascinating natural landscapes of this region. And finally this day, we will go to Dades Valley to spend the rest of the day in these amazing lands. We will spend the night in a nice hotel.

3rd Day: Todra Gorges_ Mhamid

After breakfast, the day’s program starts by leaving where we are. We will travel across the towns of Alnif and Tazzarine to Zagora, which is the next stop of our journey; there we will have lunch. The next point after lunch is overlooking Dra valley alongside the way.  Ultimately we reach Mhamid, there we will spend the night and enjoy a delicious supper.

 

4th Day: M Hamid _ Chegaga Desert

 The day starts with having breakfast in Mhamid. The next activity is a two hours drive off-road to Erg Chagaga. We will spend a lot of time exploring all the amazing desert landscapes before we eat lunch. Then, we can settle in a tent where we will spend the rest of the day enjoying the amazing dunes and the fascinating night sky with all of the stars.

 

5th Day: Chegaga – Ouarzazate

After we eat breakfast, we will start our journey through the desert region. We will travel towards Iriqui Lake, where we can discover some fossils. Then, we will visit Foum Zguid before we head to Ouarzazate via Taznakht. We will spend the night in a nice hotel at Ouarzazate.

 

6th Day: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

The next event is vising the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which is world cultural heritage according to UNESCO. After we explore the region we will head towards the Red City. We will drop you off at Marrakech in the evening at the hotel.
